Pass a Spotify web link to the openURL method of the UIApplication class to open the content in the Spotify app. A web link is preferred over a spotify: deeplink in this scenario because a deeplink will trigger an iOS confirmation prompt before switching to Spotify. Spotify handles the web link through the Universal Links mechanism. In that case, you can replace play.spotify.com with open.spotify.com in the URL, which will redirect to a simple playlist web page, then you can click the play button and it will open in the desktop app. Otherwise, it will still try to launch the playlist in the Spotify Web Player.
Hi,
When someone shares a Spotify link and I open it, it opens in Opera with an error message, instead of opening the Spotify app that I already have installed.
How could I force opening a Spotify share link in the app instead of in Opera browser?
Eg. of a sharing link : https://open.spotify.com/track/1CCgbiLZ4Gy0OzNayiFSRT?si=0OYrv9qAQTi234B_ArvJfQ

If the problem is with a page, a link to it:

Sorry French interface but it basically says 'playing deactivated, Spotify won't work if you block the protected content, if your browser is not compatible, or if you are using the incognito mode. Adjust your browser settings or download our free mobile app.' Button says: Download app.
Thanks a lot for your help!!
Use voice commands to control music and podcasts with Amazon Alexa!
![Spotify App Open Links Spotify App Open Links](/uploads/1/3/4/1/134168853/779319727.jpg)
Get started
Download the Alexa app, open it, and link your Spotify account with these steps:
- Tap the menu in the top-left.
- Tap Settings, then Music & Podcasts.
- Select Spotify, then Link account to Alexa.
- Enter your Spotify account details.
Set Spotify as your default service for music and podcasts so you don’t need to specify “on Spotify” at the end of your voice commands to play music:
- Tap the menu in the top-left.
- Tap Settings, then Music & Podcasts.
- Tap Choose default music services.
Note: To set Spotify as your default podcast service, tap Choose default podcast service. - Select Spotify and tap DONE.
Note: You still need to say “on Spotify” at the end of commands to play podcasts.
Now just ask Alexa to play something! E.g. 'Alexa, play Discover Weekly'. Check out the Amazon help site for supported languages.
